Our Auction Process: From Inquiry to Completion
At Nicolls and Auctions, we ensure a smooth and efficient auction experience for our sellers.
Here’s how our process works:
Initial Consultation
Meeting with You: We begin with a personal appointment to understand your unique needs. This is where we discuss the items you wish to auction and your desired timeline.
Setting Expectations: We’ll talk through the entire process, ensuring you’re comfortable and informed every step of the way.
Contract Agreement
Terms and Conditions: Once we have a clear understanding of your requirements, we’ll agree upon the terms.
Contract Signing: We then formalize our partnership with a contract, which will include details like the address and date of the auction, as well as the agreed-upon terms.
Pre-Auction Preparation
Cataloging Your Items: Our team will meticulously photograph and catalog each item for auction, ensuring they are presented in the best possible light.
Advertising and Promotion: We’ll create compelling advertisements to attract the right buyers to your auction.
Property Preparation: Our team will also take care of preparing the property for sale, which includes packing, organizing, and cleaning to showcase your items effectively.
Conducting the Auction
Auction Day: We conduct the auction with professionalism and expertise, aiming to secure the best possible outcome for you.
Settlement with Seller: Transparency is key, so we settle accounts with you on the same day as the auction.
Post-Auction Process
Clean-Up: After the auction, our team will handle the clean-up, ensuring the property is left in excellent condition.
Final Wrap-Up: We’ll then finalize all aspects of the sale, making sure you are satisfied with every detail of our service.
Buying at an Auction
Buying at auction is very simple, if attending the sale you will need a photo ID to register. If unable to attend and you’d like to absentee bid, call the auction to arrange it.
